HONEY FARM

Our property, also known as the Honey farm Melissokomia Aspospori, is located in the historic district of Marathon, a district with rich culture.

You will find our Honey farm about 1 kilometer away from the Archaeological Museum of Marathon, in the region of Vrana.

In the vicinity you can find easily accessible archaeological sites and plenty of nature while being nearby Athens. So, come on down and combine your day trip in an area full of nature and history with us, at our Honey Farm.

At the Honey Farm we teach everything there is to know about bees and honey. You will learn about the medicinal properties of honey and the importance of the bees’ role in nature. Also, we will try to answer all of your questions, because we really love what we do.

During our educational programs, we aspire to make the bee society known and loved by the community, and try to have informed consumers. We encourage cooperation and teamwork to raise awareness for the quality of our natural environment and finally, to recognize the importance of the bees as the main pollinator in the reproductive process of plants.

We are happy to talk with you about everything that has to do with bees and honey.
