Our past and our background are vastly different, but the love that we both share for nature, brought us to a historical place called Marathon, to preserve our family farm, our paradise. A paradise that after a lot of hard work and effort, became a home to our family, a place for our beekeeping, a place for honey tasting, and also provides outdoor educational programs for schools and univerisities.
We are two people with different knowledge and education, one an archaeologist with love and awe for our ancient Greek civilization, and the other, a builder that fell in love with beekeeping.
We both share a love for outdoor activities such as hiking, canyoning, and camping. Whoever loves nature here is the place to taste the flavors of the earth!
After more than 10 years of experience working with bees and attending multiple seminars of ongoing education, we are excited to finally open our doors and welcome you to the world of bees at the Honey Farm Aposporis. We are here to answer all your questions as you are taken on a journey of the senses through the many magical places of Greece. Places that our bees have traveled to ensure the best pure honey!
Our products come directly from the hive, leaving nature to work its wonder and the beekeeper to work their magic.
We have such a respect for nature which reminds us how important the survival of bees are. As we all know, bees are particularly important in the chain of life. Many crops that are important to human life depend on honey bees for pollination and their products are a real treasure to our health.
